Happy 1st Birthday Marden - August 2012

It has already been one year since EAHC moved into the new facility at Marden. We officially moved in on the 8th of August, 2011. Since then we have welcomed many new people to our EAHC team including medical specialists and allied health practitioners, as well as the opening of Skinwise Healthcare Skin Cancer Clinic and MoleMap by Dermatologists.

Congratulations to Dr. Massolino - June 2012

Congratulations to Dr. Joseph Massolino on becoming a Knight of the Italian Republic. Dr. Massolino received the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic from the Italian Consul for his commitment and hard work given to the Italian Community over the years. This award is one of the highest given in Italy and was marked by the attendance of special guests including the Premier, Leader of the Opposition and other ministers and distinguished guests. We are very proud of him at EAHC.

Pharmacist Manya Angley Joins the EAHC Team - May 2012

East Adelaide Healthcare is very pleased to welcome Manya Angley to our team.

Manya has joined the team at East Adelaide Healthcare as a consultant pharmacist where her role is primarily doing Home Medicines Reviews (HMRs).

Podiatrist Joins EAHC - May 2012

East Adelaide Healthcare is pleased to announce that Ali Alraddy has recently joined our allied health team.

Ali is an Accredited Podiatrist and a member of the Australian Podiatry Association.

Ali will be consulting at our Newton Surgery on a Monday and Friday (commencing 18th of June, 2012).

New Mother-Baby and Women's Health Clinic - May 2012

East Adelaide Healthcare now offers a mother-baby and women's health clinic for our patients.

This clinic will encompass issues such as:

  • Women's health check-ups - including pap smears, breast examinations
  • Contraceptive advice
  • Implanon and Mirena insertion
  • Pregnancy testing and counselling
  • Pregnancy planning, advice and check-ups

Diabetes Educator Christine Boorman Joins EAHC - October 2011

In 2011 we welcomed Christine Boorman to East Adelaide Healthcare.

Christine has been a diabetes educator for the past 25 years, working both in the Public and Private Sector. She has special interests in diabetes and pregnancy and insulin pump therapy. She is a regular attendee at both National and International Conferences regarding diabetes and chronic disease management.

Weekend / After-hours consulting times have changed - September 2011

East Adelaide Healthcare is open 7 days a week - now open late night evenings on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Our Marden Suregery will be open until 8pm on these nights and will also be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 11:30am (higher fees do apply after-hours - click here).

New Medical Practice - Now Open - September 2011

East Adelaide Healthcare has built an exciting new Medical Practice at 337 Payneham Road, Marden.  This new site has replaced our previous rooms at 296 Payneham Road, Payneham. Our Marden surgery opened on the 8th of August 2011.

The new surgery offers the very latest in facilities in General Practice.  East Adelaide Healthcare is dedicated to the provision of quality healthcare.  We wanted to be able to provide the very best of facilities for our patients, doctors, clinical and administrative staff as well as the many medical students we train each year.
