Flu Vaccine Update - 24/4/20

We are continuing to receive limited numbers of flu vaccines from the Government and our Private suppliers.

We have been taking bookings for our Flu Clinics as we receive our supply.

Telehealth and Coronavirus Update - 23/4/20

Given the changing nature of the coronavirus pandemic, we now offer Telehealth appointments to all of our patients. We will book a time with your doctor and they will call you for a phone consult. If you meet Medicare’s criteria for being bulk-billed for a phone consult, there will be no out of pocket cost to you. For our private patients that do not meet Medicare’s criteria for being bulk-billed, there may be private fees associated with these consults.

For patients that haven’t had their flu vaccine and would like one, we will be taking your details down and we will call you back for a Flu Clinic appointment once we receive more supply.

To all of our patients,

Heading into the Flu Season and the Coronavirus potentially being an additional challenge for this year, we want to reassure you that we are taking your health seriously. We aim to practise a high standard of infection control, and to do this we require your help.

Coronavirus Update - 1/3/20

In line with national advice, SA Health has recommended:

  • If you have travelled from Hubei Province within the past 14 days, you must isolate yourself until 14 days have elapsed after leaving Hubei Province.
  • If you have left, or transited through, mainland China on or after 1 February 2020 you must isolate yourself until 14 days after leaving China.
  • If you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of novel coronavirus, you must isolate yourself for 14 days after last contact with the confirmed case.
  • If you have travelled to mainland China you should monitor yourself for the 14 days from the departure from mainland China for symptoms of coronavirus.

Symptoms may include cough, trouble breathing, fatigue, sore throat or fever.

If you have travelled OVERSEAS in the last 14 days and have the symptoms above or have been in contact with a person with Coronavirus in the past 14 days:

  • Please call us on 8230 6900 (Marden) or 8360 9777 (Newton) or call the dedicated hotline on 1800 675 398.
  • If you are significantly unwell, call 000 and advise them of your symptoms and your travel history.
