Melanoma Patients Australia Fundraiser - 16/3/23

Dr Robert Menz has always wanted to walk the Larapinta Trail west from Alice Springs to Mt Sonder and is already really looking forward to doing so next April 26 – May 1 as part of a fundraising walk.

There are several spots available if Larapinta is on your bucket list, or feel free to donate in support of people with Melanoma.

This is not the whole Larapinta, but 50 km of highlights, with Dr Menz carrying only a day pack.  If you would like to donate, it is suggested either $ per Km, or a fixed amount.

Join in on https://mpa-larapinta-2023.inadv.com.au/ or donate at https://mpa-larapinta-2023.inadv.com.au/robert-menz

Dr Menz will match $ for $ any donations to a total of $3,500.

Bushfire Fundraiser Market Night - 30/1/15

Over the past month we have been collecting money at our surgeries to help families affected by the bushfires.  We held a Night Market at the Payneham Road Uniting Church to raise more funds that would go directly to these families. On the night we raised $3,200 and this money is going to help 2 families who lost everything in the Bushfire. We would like to thank all who attended and made the night possible. A special thank you to Kay and Emma for organising the night.  To see who donated and participated please click here.

Blue September

Blue September is a "nationwide awareness and fundraising initiative about all the cancers that affect men – not just prostate and testicular cancer, but also bowel, lung, liver, pancreatic and other cancers. The campaign aims to raise funds for Australian Prostate Cancer Research and Australian Cancer Research Foundation charities to raise men's awareness of cancer and help them to reduce the risk of developing and dying from cancer by making better lifestyle choices and seeking help sooner rather than later."

EAHC will be raising money for this cause throughout September, and donations can be made at our Newton and Marden surgeries.  For more information visit the Blue September website.
