Coronavirus and Flu Vax Update - 30/5/20

We now offer Telehealth appointments to all of our patients. We will book a time with your doctor and they will call you for a phone consult. If you meet Medicare’s criteria for being bulk-billed for a phone consult, there will be no out of pocket cost to you. For our private patients that do not meet Medicare’s criteria for being bulk-billed, there may be private fees associated with these consults.

As our Flu Vaccine Season continues to slow down, it has definitely been a different experience this year.

For those of you who are interested, we would like to share some information with our patients about our 2020 Flu Vaccine Season

Phone Issues - 8/5/20

We would like to apologise for EAHC's phone issues.

Work in the Newton and Marden areas has resulted in these issues.

We will post another update once these issues have been fixed.

Flu Vaccine Update - 24/4/20

We are continuing to receive limited numbers of flu vaccines from the Government and our Private suppliers.

We have been taking bookings for our Flu Clinics as we receive our supply.

Given the changing nature of the coronavirus pandemic, we now offer Telehealth appointments to all of our patients. We will book a time with your doctor and they will call you for a phone consult. If you meet Medicare’s criteria for being bulk-billed for a phone consult, there will be no out of pocket cost to you. For our private patients that do not meet Medicare’s criteria for being bulk-billed, there may be private fees associated with these consults.

Flu Vaccine Update - 15/4/20

At this time we are receiving limited numbers of flu vaccines from the Government and our Private suppliers.  We have been taking bookings for our Flu Clinics but as we have a limited supply, they have been booking out very quickly.

For patients that haven’t had their flu vaccine and would like one, we will be taking your details down and we will call you back for a Flu Clinic appointment once we receive more supply.

Telehealth Appointments - 2/4/20

Given the fast-changing nature of the Coronavirus pandemic, we are now offering Telehealth appointments to all of our patients. We will book a time with your doctor and they will call you for a phone consult. This phone consult will now be covered by Medicare for all patients and there will be no out of pocket cost to you.

Surgery Closure Sunday 29/3/20

We wish to inform our patients that our Marden suregery will not be open this Sunday 29/3/20.

Please note: Our telephone is answered 24 hours a day. All after-hours telephone calls to East Adelaide Healthcare are diverted to our medical answering service, who will organise the appropriate care for you.
