Dr. Alvaro is Co-Managing Principal (Operational Management). Dr. Alvaro is one of our bilingual doctors and as such is able to bring his practice expertise to both the Italian and the broader Australian communities. He has a special interest in Chronic Disease Management.

Dr. Geoffrey Barrow MBBS, FRACGP, BMedSci(Hons)

Dr. Barrow is Co-Managing Principal (Business and Development).  Dr. Barrow has been with East Adelaide Healthcare since its inception in 2001. He has a broad practice with an interest in children, adults and the elderly, and has a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment including complex excisions. Dr Barrow consults at our Marden rooms, as well as in our Skin Wise Skin Cancer Clinic. In addition to his busy practice schedule he is an examiner for the College of General Practitioners.

Dr. Olivia Chen MB Bch Bao (2001), MRCGO (2011), FRACGP

Dr Olivia Chen, originally from Sydney, graduated from medical school Trinity College, Dublin. She then spent 3 years training in acute and adult medicine in a major London hospital, before entering a London GP training program. She was awarded Fellowship of General Practitioners (UK) in 2011 and moved back to Australia in 2012. She gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012. She has been working in General Practice for over 10 years. She is passionate about all areas of General Practice, however has a special interest in women's health, chronic health conditions, obesity and the role of diet and exercise in improving all aspects of health, physically and mentally.

Dr. Alisha Evans 

Dr Alisha Evans graduated from Flinders University in 2018 and spent 5 years working at South Australian hospitals in obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics and emergency. She became a registrar in General Practice in 2024 and has an interest in women's health, contraception, pregnancy and paediatrics. Dr Alisha holds a Certificate of Women's Health and is completing her Diploma of the Royal Australian and NZ College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr. Flavio Giannitto MBBS, FRACGP - NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS

Dr. Giannitto is Co-Managing Principal (Operational Management). Dr. Giannitto is one of our bilingual doctors being fluent in the Italian language. Dr Giannitto graduated from Adelaide University in 1999 and received his Fellowship in General Practice in 2004. His special interests include Paediatrics, Sports Medicine, Diabetes and Hypertension.

Dr. Simon Hayward MD, FRACGP, B App Sci(Med. Lab Sci), B App Sci(Podiatry) Hons

Simon has always had an affinity for health care and spent his initial post graduate years working in the pathology area as a hospital scientist before going on to further study and obtaining qualifications as a podiatrist while living in New South Wales. Simon returned to South Australia in 2007 where he practiced podiatry for several years before completing his medical training at Flinders University. Simon gained experience in numerous specialities in the hospital system before commencing and completing his GP training and obtaining FRACGP accreditation.

Simon enjoys all aspects of general practice and has significant experience in musculoskeletal medicine and conditions of the lower leg and foot.

In his spare time, Simon enjoys travelling, photography and snow skiing, preferably all at the same time.

Dr. Andrew Kellie MBBS, MGPPsych(Clin), FRACGP, AFCHSM, AMA(M), SBStJ - NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS

Dr. Kellie is Co-Managing Principal (Business and Development). He has practiced in the Newton area for more than thirty years. He has a Masters degree in General Practice Psychiatry, is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Managers. His special interests are general practice psychiatry, chronic disease management, education in primary health care and corporate governance, and he is involved in health care system research with SAHMRI’s Registry of Senior Australians. He is also one of our doctors who offer shared care in obstetrics.

Dr. Kirsty Kneebone MBBS

Dr. Kneebone has worked in family medicine in the Campbelltown Area for the last 20 years and joined EAHC in January 2007. She has special interests in diabetes, women's health and geriatric medicine. She is also involved in Obstetric Ante-Natal shared care. Dr Kneebone also provides services at the Adelaide Clinic.

Dr. Jane Landers MBBS (Adelaide), MMed (UQ Skin Cancer), FRACGP, MRCP (UK)

Dr. Jane Landers graduated in 1988 from the University of Adelaide.  She spent several years training in Adult Medicine at the RAH, and also in London where she was awarded membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1992.  In 2002, she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked in general practice for 25 years.  In 2018, Dr. Landers was awarded a Graduate Certificate in Medicine in the field of Skin cancer, through the University of Queensland, and is completing a Master of Medicine in this field.

Dr. Landers enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in skin disease, skin cancer and minor procedures including Implanon insertion.

Dr. Bill Loukas B.Eng (EE), B.Sc, BA, MD, FRACGP

Bill spent his earlier years working as an Engineer before commencing his medical training at Flinders University. He then gained experience across numerous specialities in the Adelaide hospital system before commencing and completing his GP training with FRACGP accreditation.Bill enjoys all aspects of general medicine, with particular interests in musculoskeletal medicine, travel medicine, men’s health, paediatrics and mental health. Bill is also one of our bilingual doctors, being fluent in Greek.

Bill has grown up in Adelaide and in his spare time enjoys time with his family, gardening, movies, reading and following AFL and the cricket.

Dr. Joseph Massolino BMBS, FRACGP

Dr. Massolino is Co-Managing Principal (Clinical Governance).  Dr. Massolino has worked as a General Practitioner for over twenty years and is one of our bilingual doctors being fluent in Italian. He graduated in 1984 from Flinders University and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1993.  He has interests in preventative medicine, chronic illness and disease management as well as skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.  Dr. Massolino has had experience in palliative care.

Dr. Robert Menz MBBS, FRACGP, MClinEdu

Dr. Menz works two regular sessions per week at EAHC with a particular interest in Chronic Disease Management.  He has an interest in Standards, and is an AGPAL practice surveyor. He is the RACGP Medical Advisor for the RACGP exam, a member of the SA/NT faculty board and also a senior examiner. Robert completed a Masters in Clinical Education in 2013 and teaches General Practice and Clinical Education. He has recently been appointed to the SA Civil and Administrative Tribunal. We are pleased to have him continue to be involved with our practice as well as seeing his administrative abilities and wide knowledge of General Practice put to excellent use.

Dr. Desi Psaromatis MBBS, DipChH, FRACGP - NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS

Dr. Psaromatis has been working in the field of General Practice since 2005 and completed her RACGP fellowship in 2011. She is an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is a keen advocate for teaching medical students and GP registrars.  She completed her Diploma of Child Health and Pregnancy Shared Care and is accredited to provide Antenatal care in conjunction with the major public obstetric hospitals. She enjoys the challenges and variety of medicine seen in General Practice and has a keen interest in Women’s Health and Pediatrics and provides care to the whole family. She likes to practice Evidence Based Medicine and is continuously attending educational meetings. She also works as a Surgical Orthopedic assistant. She works at the Marden clinic 4 days a week.

Dr. Maria Sauchelli MBBS, FRACGP - NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS

Dr. Sauchelli originally consulted in the Yorke Peninsula where she worked as a rural GP for 7 years. Maria is one of our female GPs.  She is also one of our multilingual doctors, speaking fluent Italian and Spanish. She works at the Newton surgery three days per week.

Dr. Dragica Sosa MBBS, FRACGP, GradCertClinEdu - NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS

Dr. Sosa has come to EAHC after practicing in Salisbury North for 15 years. She has an interest in paediatrics, women's health, antenatal shared care and chronic disease management. She is bilingual, speaking English and Croatian. As well as working part-time in General Practice, Dragica is a medical education co-coordinator for General Practice Registrars in the regional GP Training Program.

Dr. Soumya MBBS, FRACGP, MPubHealth, MClinSc

Dr Soumya is a trainee of Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. She has maintained a research and clinical profile for the past decade with experience in various sub-specialties including ear nose and throat surgery, plastic surgery and general surgery.

Dr Soumya has special interests in minor surgical procedures, preventative health, women’s health, contraception, intrauterine device and Implanon insertion/removals, weight loss, post-operative care, management of diabetes and other chronic conditions.

Dr Soumya is also one of our bilingual doctors, speaking Hindi and English.

Dr. Emilie Staehr MBBS, FRACGP - NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS

Dr Staehr graduated from The University of Adelaide in 2006, and gained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012, receiving the AOGP Registrar Justin Beilby Medal in 2011.  Her subspecialty interests include both Women’s Health and Psychological Medicine. She is pleased to offer Implanon and IUD insertion in-practice, having gained a certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health from SHine SA (2011).  She has undertaken Level 2 Mental Health training to provide Medicare funded mental health counselling sessions to patients under a Mental Health Treatment Plan following Australian Society of Psychological Medicine FPS Skills Training (2016).  She has further qualifications with the International Society of Schema Therapy: The Model, Methods and Techniques (2017) and Interpersonal Therapy Level A training by IPT institute (2022).  Dr Staehr welcomes you to book a longer appointment should you wish to discuss more than a single issue or if you are addressing issues in either of the above areas.

Dr Staehr also works across all aspects of general practice including children, of which she has three. She enjoys complementing her consulting work with services as a surgical assistant and relieving at The Adelaide Clinic.  She has previously been a clinical lecturer at Adelaide University and an examiner for the RACGP.

Dr. Erin Stanes MBBS (hons) DRANZCOG (Adv), FRACGP - CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE

Erin joined EAHC after relocating from Perth with her husband and daughter. She completed her primary medical degree at the University of Western Australia, and worked in both rural and metropolitan WA prior to entering General Practice Training. During this time she worked for several years in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, completing an Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as well as a Diploma of Child Health. Erin has a particular interest in women’s health, (including IUD and implanon insertion and removal) and is accredited to provide antenatal share care. More recently, Erin has developed an interest in vascular disorders and is upskilling in the treatment of spider veins.
